Clown Injured During Chatham 4th Of July Parade
The clown was injured in a fire skit gone wrong, police said.

CHATHAM BOROUGH, NJ — A clown performing in the annual Chatham Independence Day Parade was injured during a fire skit gone wrong, Chatham Borough police said.
The 20-year-old clown was performing as part of the Independent Hose Company during the Wednesday m morning parade. An accelerant used during the skit got on the face of the clown, and burned his facial hair, face, and eyes.
The Chatham Borough resident was taken to St. Barnabas Medical Center by the Chatham Emergency Squad for treatment.
