Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Landscapes Chatham Library Grounds For Cares Day

CHATHAM, N.J. – (June 9, 2016) – Ten volunteers from the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage real estate office in Chatham worked together to beautify the landscaping at the Library of the Chathams as part of the statewide Coldwell Banker Cares Day event in April.

The Coldwell Banker Cares Day volunteers weeded, cleaned, edged and mulched all of the front beds at the Library of the Chathams on Main Street. They used more than two yards – a full dump truck – of mulch.

“It was a beautiful day for the project and much appreciated by all passersby. We were thrilled to give back in a way that can be enjoyed by the entire community,” said Jane Schelling, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associate and Cares Ambassador.

All 52 real estate offices affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. gave back to local communities via charitable efforts as part of the fourth annual Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Day event. In total, more than 700 volunteers worked a combined 3,000-plus hours during Cares Day. They collected multiple carloads of food, clothes and other needed goods, as well as more than $9,000 in financial donations for local charities through Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares.
