Contempt Of Court Arrest In Chatham: Borough Police
Khalid Jackson was wanted in Marlboro Township, police said.
CHATHAM, NJ - A random license plate check led to the arrest of a 36-year-old Union man, according to the Chatham Borough Police Department.
According to authorities on Wednesday morning shortly after 1 a.m. Officer Matt Belcastro conducted a random license plate check on a car being driven by Khalid Jackson and turned up an outstanding contempt of court warrant issued by the Municipality of Marlboro Township and a suspended license.
Jackson was taken into custody and transported to Police Headquarters for processing. Jackson was issued a motor vehicle summons for driving while suspended and was later turned over to members of the Marlboro Township Police Department, police said.
