Drunk Driver Stopped In Chatham Township
Christopher Danaher was eventually released to a family member, police said.
CHATHAM, NJ - A 57-year-old Old Bridge man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a motor vehicle stop on July 30, according to the Chatham Township Police Department.
Patrolman Nicholas Giordano stopped a vehicle on Shunpike Road for several motor vehicle violations, police said. After speaking to the driver, Christopher Danaher, and a subsequent roadside investigation Danaher was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated, police said.
Danaher was transported to Police Headquarters, processed and later released to a family member pending a municipal court date.

Danaher was issued summonses for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Keep Right, police said.
