'Endless Supply' Of Spirits To Support Chatham Library Friday

History and Hops event provides support to the Library of the Chathams.

CHATHAM, NJ - While the Library of the Chathams may not spring to mind when thinking about grabbing a drink to start the weekend, but the Historical Society is hoping folks will come out to the Chatham Fish and Game Club and support the History and Hops event on Friday.

This year, the annual event supports the Library of the Chathams in its renovation campaign “Bridging Space to Place.” The library Board of Trustees has commissioned a plan to reorganize space within the existing building footprint. The plan includes a new teen center that focuses on socialization and study, teen work rooms dedicated for learning and a multi-purpose STEM room.

According to officials, the design takes into account the fact that the way people use libraries is changing.
