The 21st Arthouse Film Festival begins on March 7th and will run for 10 weeks. For a tentative list of films or to register, see the festival website.
In a press release, festival director Chuck Rose said, "Since launching 20 years ago, we have worked to create an international VIP network of filmmakers, actors, journalists, critics and film industry pros whose jobs involve finding and evaluating the cream of Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, Venice, Berlin, Tribeca and the other important film festivals. We also work to ferret out potential hits in the development and production stages so we are ready to pounce on the best films first."
Seating at the festival is limited -- a subscription is $133 for five weeks, $235 for 10 weeks, or $205 for any eight out of the 10 nights.
