AZTEC TWO STEP 40th Anniversary Concert

Longtime Sanctuary favorites Aztec Two-Step are a folk-rock duo who are often compared to Simon & Garfunkel and the Everly Brothers.  They've been making feel-good music, marked by gorgeous harmonies and virtuoso guitar playing, since their auspicious Elektra Records debut in 1972.  Since then, Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman have become staples of progressive FM and college radio, were voted onto Billboard's year-end critic's poll, and appeared on The David Letterman Show and World Cafe Live. In 1999, a documentary about their career, No Hit Wonder, aired on PBS.

Please join Neal and Rex as they celebrate their 40th year together with us.  They will play their hits, as well as a set of their celebrated Simon & Garfunkel covers.  They will be joined by friends and special guests including the legendary duo Buskin & Batteau and rock historian Pete Fornatale of WFUV Radio.  There will be cake!
