Graham Parker & Garland Jeffreys

These two songwriters and old friends share a once-in-a-lifetime acoustic evening of edgy, catchy pop songs marked with biting wit.

Graham Parker found fame with his band The Rumour (which Garland Jeffreys later fronted as well), combining his deep love for American R&B, country and soul music with rock and punk sensibilities.  Graham is one of the rare artists who have two albums on Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Top 100 Albums of All Time” list.

Garland Jeffreys, a rock legend who walked away from the U.S. market and spent decades living in Europe, returned to the spotlight in 2002 when Bruce Springsteen invited him on his national tour. Audiences rediscovered his charismatic blend of rock, reggae, blues, and soul, as well as his thoughtful autobiographical songs and ardent political anthems. He remains one of rock's most original and honest voices.
