The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Beacon Fire Chapter of Summit is sponsoring a lecture on the American Indian--"Lenape Culture in New Jersey" given by Ms. Beverly Friend from the NJ Council of Humanities. Ms. Friend is part Cherokee and will be lecturing, as well as presenting numerous live artifacts from the Lenape tribe. The lecture is free to the public.
