Richard Shindell with Mad Agnes

Richard Shindell's career as one of the most revered craftsman of American song has led him far from his New Jersey roots. After studying at both a Zen monastery and a theological seminary, busking on the streets of Paris, and being signed to NJ's Shanachie Records, recognition came quickly to him. His tongue-in-cheek song "Are You Happy Now?" got him nationwide radio play, and his involvement in the supergroup Cry Cry Cry (with Dar Williams and Lucy Kaplansky) led to an unforgettable nationwide tour and album. Richard is touring in support of his newest album, Not Far Now.

Special guests Mad Agnes are a soulful trio known for their soaring harmonies, witty lyrics and engaging repartee.  Sadly, the group has decided to disband, and this will be one of their final public performances.
