Senior Center of the Chathams Offers “Watercolor Workshop”

The  Senior Center of the Chathams will be offering a “Watercolor Workshop” on Thursdays Nov. 3 –Dec 15, from 10 – 12.  

If there are a large number of participants the class will be divided into 2 sessions with the second session going from 12:30 – 2:30 pm.

Local art instructor and accomplished artist, Ed Schuh, will teach the principles of composition and perspective with the addition of watercolor. Adults with all levels of ability are welcomed.

Mr. Schuh is a graduate of Seton Hall University and the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts, where he later taught. He has been a professional artist and illustrator for over 35 years.

Winner of several awards both in the States and abroad, his work is represented in many private collections.  He is past President of the Chatham Art League, a member of the Drew Art Association, and the Essex Watercolor Club.

The cost of the course is $40 for 6 two-hour sessions. Adults under age 60 are also welcome for an additional $10 fee.  Please call the Senior Center at (973)635-4565 for information and registration. Senior bus transportation is available door-to-door for Chatham residents.
