Trout Fishing Derby

The Chatham Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring its annual Small Fry Trout Fishing Derby at Kelley's Pond behind the Milton Avenue Elementary School.   The Pond has been stocked with trout of various sizes and should provide a great weekend of trout fishing for Chatham Borough youngsters ages 13 and under.  Youngsters may register on site at the Official Derby Desk under the tent at any time either day during the event.   The event is FREE!   Prizes will be awarded to the boys and the girls for the first fish caught, first three fish caught and the largest fish caught each day.  Prizes will also be awarded to individuals catching selected tagged trout.  A trophy will be awarded to the youngster who catches the largest fish for both days.  Hot Dogs and Soda will be served.  RAIN or SHINE!!
