Fit For a King: Chatham Supermarket Ready for Grand Reopening
Main Street store will host weekend of festivities at end of June.

It’s a community staple, and it’s coming back bigger and better than ever.
After some renovations, Kings Supermarket on Main Street in Chatham is ready to reopen to the public, and it’s going to be grand.
A pasta-ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 26 and will include product samplings, chef demonstrations, and the Star Spangled Banner being sung by Caroline Kiernan, a student at Chatham Middle School.

Kings Supermarkets executives will be on hand as well, followed by a weekend of events. On opening day, the Chatham Historical Society will be on hand showcasing cookware from the past, and on Saturday, shoppers can take photos in the summer-themed photo booth. Complimentary consultations from the store’s nutritionist will also be available.
