Florham Park Resident Elected President of United States Fistball Assn.

Robert Feid of Florham Park, a local business owner was recently elected President of the United States Fistball Association (USFA). Mr. Feid, also President of Allan Feid Plumbing of Livingston is a 25 year member and 4 time President of the Florham Park Rotary Club. Mr. Feid is also the Fistball Director at the Swim and Sport Club in Flanders, NJ.

As the United State Fistball Association welcomes its new President, Mr. Feid plans to introduce the European born generational sport of Fistball to local New Jersey school recreation departments through demonstrations and clinics.

New Jersey will take center stage while making sports history as the USFA and the Swim and Sport Club host the 1st ever Pan-American Fistball Games held in the United States. The Games will be held during the last week of August in Flanders, NJ. Teams from USA, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Columbia will take part in 4 days of intense competition.

The tournament taking place from August 27th – 30th 2015 will include the Pan-American Championship, (overall best of the National teams) and the Pan-American Cup (top overall Club teams) with both Men’s and Women’s teams competing.

Other Fistball clubs in the USA competing against the Swim and Sport Club over the many years are located in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Both the men’s and women’s teams have enjoyed many a spirited tournament throughout the years helping the sport of Fistball thrive.
