Food Collection, Sunday Oct. 16 on World Food Day at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Chatham

You are encouraged to bring non-perishable food to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 300 Shunpike Rd., Chatham Twp., New Jersey on Sunday, October 16. The food will be brought to the Morris County Interfaith Food Pantry.

When: drop off any time between 9:30 am and 12 noon.

Where: drive to the rear parking lot. Go up the grey steps. Drop off right inside the door. If you need help, ask, and someone will help you carry the items inside.

The Mission of the Interfaith Food Pantry is to:

• Improve the health and well being of Morris County residents in need by providing access to food, nutrition education and related resources;
• Provide hands on opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors;
• Educate the public about the issues of hunger in our area.
