"The Freshman Student Council wanted to build a drive that would involve the entire community and supply humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Millions of people have been forced to flee their homes since the start of the conflict, leaving valuables (like food) behind," said Julia Ulrich, the Chatham High School student council vice president.

"We believe that if Chatham can come together and support this cause, we can make a strong impact on the lives of people in Ukraine," Ulrich said.

Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at a participating school's main office in the form of money or checks made out to Chatham High School with the memo "Ukraine Food Drive."

"Remember, just one donation makes a huge difference. Let's all support Ukraine," said Chatham High School.
