The Future’s Looking Bright

As Chatham Borough looks to the future, candidates Bob Weber and Freddie Bicknese are poised to ensure residents have a strong voice in the decisions that affect our community. Both long-time residents of Chatham Borough, Weber and Bicknese have a vested interest in making sure our town remains a fantastic place to live and raise a family. Their combined skill sets and experience afford them the know-how and understanding necessary to represent the residents of Chatham Borough as we face the difficult challenges of the next few years.

The campaign kicked off with a successful fundraiser on May 25, which brought together Chatham residents and local leaders for a night of fun, food and music. Weber and Bicknese were joined by State Senator Jon Bramnick and Morris County Sheriff James Gannon, who shared their thoughts on the future of both the County and the State of New Jersey.

Attendees then got to hear from the candidates, who highlighted their experience and focus:

As a career prosecutor, Bob Weber forged the confidence and fortitude necessary to investigate and prosecute criminals who threatened the safety of Morris County. As a member of the Chatham Borough Council, he used those same skills and tenacity to address head-on the issues facing our residents, and improve the quality of life in town. Our community has witnessed first-hand how the lackluster and impulsive crime policies of the Democratic Party have led to an increase in crime in towns like Chatham Borough. Weber is best equipped to coordinate with the County Sheriff and the great officers of our Chatham Borough Police Department to address these threats. All residents of Chatham Borough deserve a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.

As a substitute teacher and long-time scout leader with Chatham’s Troop 8, Weber is invested in Chatham’s children and their futures. As an elected official, he will pursue policies that foster our safety and the well-being of all of our residents, especially our children.

Specializing in business and financial litigation, Freddie Bicknese has the skill set and knowledge necessary to contribute to complex discussions of the Chatham Borough Council. Decisions regarding budgeting, state mandates, municipal tax increases and beyond will impact the short- and long-term investments residents have made in their homes and community. Bicknese will represent and protect the financial interests of resident’s investments, and provide oversight into the responsible collection and allocation of your hard-earned tax dollars. He will always strive for complete transparency and accountability for the hardworking taxpayers of Chatham.
