Glee Club Debuts at Juniper Village at Chatham

Residents harmonize in first Glee Club program.

Columbus Day was very special at Juniper Village at Chatham as they welcomed the first
performance of their new resident Glee Club. Juniper decided to take advantage of the
fact that a presentation on Christopher Columbus was scheduled, and to
make the Glee Club debut prior to it. Dressed in red, white and blue, the Glee Club singers were on
pins and needles until the accompanist (a resident's daughter) arrived,
but despite nervousness, the residents rallied and sang enthusiastically. The first
program was short: You're a Grand Old Flag, American the Beautiful, and
the Star Spangled Banner. The club harmonized, and the audience joined
in for the second verse.
