Gun Control Town Hall Hosted By Morristown March For Our Lives

The teens who planned the Morristown March For Our Lives are hosting a "Town Hall For Our Lives" this weekend in Morristown.

CHATHAM, NJ — A "Town Hall for Our Lives," focusing on gun control, is being hosted by the Morristown March for Our Lives organizers in Morristown this weekend.

A student panel will ask the candidates running in New Jersey's 11th district "a variety of questions related to gun safety and keeping kids safe at school," organizers said, and all declared candidates have been invited.

As of Tuesday, Republican's Patrick Allocco and Martin Hewitt, and Democrats Mitchell Cobert, Tamara Harris, Mikie Sherrill, and Mark Washburne have confirmed their attendance. Outgoing Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen, has been invited but is not confirmed, organizers said.

The town hall will take place on Saturday, April 7 from 4-6 p.m. Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Morristown. It's free but tickets are required; click here to register.
