Heroin Ring Busted In Morris County

Over $20,000 worth of drugs were confiscated, police said.

MORRIS, NJ — Over 2,450 folds of heroin and seven ounces of cocaine worth $20,500 were found in a multi-town drug ring bust, Morris County, Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp announced.

The drugs were found and two were arrested after a months-long investigation with the Mount Olive and Rockaway Borough police departments, Knapp said.

The investigation began in the summer of 2017 and ended on Thursday when Jose Miguel Majia, 48, of Rockaway Township, and Ines Maria Ribera-Rodiguez, 58, of Rockaway Township, were arrested. Knapp said the two were distributing "large amounts of heroin" within the area.
