Holiday Celebrations at Juniper Village at Forest Hills

On Monday, December 21 the second and third grade students from Trinity Christian School in Forest Hills visited Juniper Village, a senior living community. Over 20 students performed a variety of religious and holiday songs. The students then invited the residents to sing with them, and moved into the audience, each selecting a new friend to join in song. The students’ holiday cheer spread smiles to all of the residents’ faces.

Prior to this holiday event, on December 17 family members of all ages gathered at Juniper for the annual Family Holiday Celebration. More than 85 residents, family members, and guest attended. The evening included singing and dancing to the holiday sounds of the Mikey D Band. “What a great way to bring our families together for the holiday season,” exclaimed Janet Wangler, Juniper Village’s Executive Director. A wonderful evening was had by all.
