Hosanna! Palm Sunday Worship at 10:00 a.m.

On Sunday March 20 we celebrate God's endless love for us. We begin the liturgy with the "Procession with Palms" - "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!" (Luke 19:28-40) . We remember that Jesus entered the holy city in triumph and was proclaimed messiah and king by those who spread garments and branches along the way. The children have a special role in the procession. The children are invited to process with Palms in the Sanctuary with Pastor Christa Compton. The "Joyful Noise", our children's choir, will sing a wonderful anthem. After the procession we turn to the Gospel Luke and will read the "Passion of Jesus Christ".

We celebrate Holy Communion each Sunday, and remember the words of Jesus, "I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh." (John 6:51)
