Jaime Pinaire 5K Race Coming Saturday
Proceeds of the event will provide scholarships for students.
CHATHAM, NJ - For the third time in as many years, the annual Jaime Pinaire 5K Race and Fun Run returns to Chatham to help provide education money for those who need it.
The race takes takes place on Saturday, June 1 at Chatham High School and participants can run or walk the certified 5K course which winds through Rolling Hills neighborhood, starting and ending at Chatham High School.
There will be one water station along the course. There will also be a 1 Mile Fun Run on and around Chatham High School grounds available for those who want a shorter distance.

DJ music, kids' activities, and refreshments will be available throughout the event.
Register or donate to support the James A. Pinaire III Foundation, a not-for-profit organization which provides scholarship monies to students who have a financial need and otherwise supports educational opportunities.

Early race packet pickup will be available on Friday, May 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Chatham Sports Shop located at 257 Main Street. Onsite registration and packet pick up begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Chatham High School cafeteria.
1 Mile Fun Run begins at 9 a.m. and 5K Race at 9:30 a.m. All Fun Run participants will receive a medal. Awards will follow the 5K race.
Prizes will be awarded to top male and female finishers and trophies awarded to top three male and female finishers 13 years old and under. Race is on rain or shine.
