JerseySTEM offers hands on STEM programs for K-12 students.

2016 Fall Classe

JerseySTEM is a network of parents, professionals, students and educators whose goal is to promote excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (“STEM”) education.

Our 2016 Fall class schedule is now available and registration is open. We have many of the same high quality, innovative, hands on STEM programs for K-12 students that we have offered in the past, and we also have several new classes including:

  • FLL Jr. combined with Introduction to Computer Programming with Scratch, grades 2-3.
  • Garden Science, grades K-4
  • Bridges, grades 4-8

JerseySTEM is a cooperative organization and parents are required to help with classes or administration. We attempt to keep course and activity prices in the reach of most students, but amount of our requested donations for a class does not cover the complete cost of our expenses. Parents of JerseySTEM students partner with our organization and volunteer approximately 1 hour each week to ensure that our programs are run with quality, professionalism and sustainability. Many of our classes are taught by parent volunteers. We also have opportunities for non-coaching parents in administration, technology, finance, legal, communications, coordinating classes, trips and special events.
