The staff and Board of Library of the Chathams would like to apologize to our patrons for the delay in opening the rear entrance of the library from the parking lot. We are well aware of the inconvenience this poses to library users. Unfortunately, the delay is due to a supply chain issue beyond the library’s control. There are also building code and safety issues that the library cannot bypass. We will do all we can to remedy the situation quickly and will keep our community posted as soon as we have a date.
