Love For All Hatred For None

It is about the rise of hate crimes in United States.

Several organizations and individuals have stood up to mitigate the hate crimes which have risen during the past few months in the United States. I believe these to be their sincere efforts to bring peace to the society. However, there are some unfortunate elements in our community due to which bigotry and hatred are on the rise.

I am a member of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, USA. I am also affected by this environment of panic and agitation. My wish is to stand hand in hand with my fellow Americans and
help this campaign to bring peace and concord. As an Ahmadi Muslim I live by our motto, “Love for all, hatred for none”. This is the teaching of the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(peace be on him)whose mission was to revive the religion of Islam. As instructed by Hazrat Ahmad, our community is already serving humanity through many charitable organizations, one of which being Humanity First, serving 43 countries across 6 continents. Humanity First USA (HFUSA)was incorporated in the United States in 2004. The basic motives behind HFUSA are community development and disaster response.

Our world today needs peace, not war. Recently we have seen examples of how Muslims and Jews came together and helped each other.Jews helped Muslims build their mosque and similarly Muslims helped Jews repair headstones of their cemetery which were vandalized by some evil doers of the society. This is an excellent example of the maturity of American people who have now perceived the fact that it is better to live united rather than being divided.

We should not fight against a certain belief or sect, instead we should fight against evil and wicked ones. All religions of the world including Islam teach us to be kind and meek to all human beings.I believe that if we create unrest and disorder in our world, the Creator of the universe can lead us to unrest also because He is the true judge and has the most power to bring justice.
