Manhunt Underway For Morris County Armed Robbery Suspects

​A manhunt is underway for two armed N.J. robbery suspects, according to authorities.

A manhunt is underway for two armed robbery suspects, according to authorities. The suspects are connected to an armed robbery that occurred Thursday morning at Crescent Jewelers, located at 251 Main St. in Chatham Borough, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and Chatham Borough Police Chief Philip J. Crosson Jr.

At approximately 10:54 a.m., law enforcement authorities received a report of the armed robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed that two black males entered the store and ultimately stole an undetermined amount of jewelry, according to authorities.

During this incident, a handgun was produced. The males then exited the store and entered a silver or gray Jeep that was driven by a third black male, according to authorities.

Suspect #1: Black male, wearing shorts and a red T-shirt.

Suspect #2: Black male wearing a traffic-style vest.

Suspect #3: Black male, bald with a beard. (vehicle driver)

Through the assistance of the New Jersey State Police, two sketches have been produced depicting the suspects involved in the incident.
