Mask King of New Jersey Tries The New Philips Light Me Up Mask

This past week the Mask King of New Jersey put the new Philips Light Me Up mask through its paces while out shopping in New Jersey.

This new mask is an updated version of the Philips Fresh Air Mask which was released in early 2020 in Asian markets. Like that more expensive model, the Light Me Up mask improves the air quality of wearers by pushing stale air out of the mask via a three-speed electric fan, but it also offers the option of removing the exhaust fan and capping the mask vent to allow the wearer to use the mask in places where vented masks are not permitted because of higher risk of transmission (medical facilities, schools, onboard flights). The Light Me Up mask comes in four colors: white, black, beige, and green.

The Philips Light Me Up mask offers you full KN95 filtration protection, so it is great for long shopping trips, airport layovers, train rides, and anytime you want protection without the humidity and fogged-glasses that come with unvented KN95 and KF94 style masks. The color options give wearers options to match with outfits and activities. It is currently only sold in East Asia, but it can be purchased on the Chinese ecommerce website, TaoBao if you have a working knowledge of Chinese (not all content is fully translated via Google).
