Maundy Thursday, Holy Thursday Worship at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church

On Maundy Thursday, March 24, 2016 Gloria Dei Lutheran Church will offer a 5:00 p.m. Worship Service with Holy Communion specially framed for children. The music and sermon will be geared toward children so that they may understand the significance of the night that we commemorate. The Gospel of John 13:1-7 tells the story of Jesus Christ washing the feet of his disciples, just before the Passover Festival, and the day of his death. We are blessed to have many children in our congregation. Teens in our confirmation class will participate in the service. On Maundy Thursday, March 24, 2016 Gloria Dei Lutheran Church will also offer a 7:30 p.m. Worship Service with Holy Communion, for all ages.
