Multi-Mile Delay On 287 Clear For Thursday Commute Home
BREAKING: You shouldn't expect any extra traffic tonight.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A multi-mile delay that brought Route 287 north to a crawl Thursday around 11:30 a.m. has been cleared for the evening commute home.
According to News 12 NJ, traffic in the area is moving normally. Earlier this afternoon, traffic speeds are averaged 25 miles per hour in the Whippany area, News 12 NJ says.
The traffic could have had more than one cause: the radio station NJ 101.5 is reporting a crash at northbound Exit 37 (Route 24) in Morristown as the cause of the traffic.

Vice President Mike Pence was scheduled to dine with President Donald Trump in Bedminster at 12:30 p.m, according to the White House schedule. If he flew into Morristown Airport, the vice presidential motorcade could have been an additional source of the traffic.
