Multiple DWI Arrests In Chatham So Far This Week

Two drunk driving arrests were made just 36 hours apart.

CHATHAM, NJ — Police have made two drunk driving arrests in Chatham Township this week, just 36 hours apart.

The first arrest was on Aug. 27 at 2:02 a.m. Charles Taylor, 25 of Morristown was pulled over for a traffic violation on Woodland Ave. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right.

Taylor was released to a family member with a pending court date, and his car was impounded.

The second arrest was on Aug. 28 at 2:03 p.m. A Livingston man struck a curb while driving, leaving his car disabled, police said. After an investigation. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to exhibit documents.

He was released to a family member with an upcoming court date, and his car was impounded.
