Municipal Building To Be Closed In Chatham Township

CHATHAM, NJ — Residents are alerted that the township municipal building will be closed all day on Friday, Aug. 5 due to scheduled electrical service work, according to township officials.

The planned improvements will allow the township to be more responsive and continue to serve the public with minimal interruptions in the event of future power outages, officials said.

The municipal building is normally open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and it will reopen after the service work is completed.

"We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding as we try to improve government operations," township officials said.
