New Cafe Opens at Juniper Village at Chatham, Honoring Town History and Building Community
The William Pitt Cafe welcomes residents, families, and staff to connect over fresh coffee, seasonal dishes, and local inspiration
There something brewing at Juniper Village at Chatham, and it's more than just coffee!
The community recently celebrated the opening of the William Pitt Cafe, a brand new gathering space for residents, families, and team members.
Named in honor of Sir William Pitt, the British statesman and namesake of Chatham, the cafe blends historical inspiration with Juniper's mission of creating vibrant, connected living spaces.

The William Pitt Cafe opened with a flavorful kickoff menu featuring:
- Fresh bagels and pastries
- Tuscan white bean soup
- The Tuscan Stack Panini
- A Citrus Grove spinach salad
"Our goal is to create spaces where people can connect, share a meal, and feel truly at home," said Janel Kohaut, Executive Director of Juniper Village at Chatham. "The William Pitt Cafe is another step in building a strong, connected community."

Residents and families can enjoy breakfast and lunch in the cafe, which is already becoming a favorite spot for conversation, coffee, and connection!
Juniper Village at Chatham is home to about 100 vibrant older adults and offers assisted living and supportive independent living. The community has been recognized for excellence in service and ranked in the top 2% of assisted living providers in New Jersey by FamilyAssets.
