CHATHAM, NJ - It may be a year away from being pressed into service but the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department is already excited about their new truck's impending arrival.

According to officials, this new truck will allow firefighters access to greater storage and usage of their ever-growing speciality rescue equipment and will allow them to better serve the residents of Chatham Township and our mutual aid departments.

"We would like to thank Chatham Township Administrator Bob Hoffman and all members of the Township Committee for making this happen," the department said. "While only in the beginning stages, we are very excited to work with Sutphen Corporation for the second time, and cannot wait to take delivery of this truck in the summer of 2020."
