Newark Woman Accused Of Stealing $5K From Bank Account: Police
A woman was allegedly used the money to pay her utility bills.

CHATHAM, NJ — A Newark woman was arrested after she allegedly stole over $5,000 from a Chatham Township man's checking account.
The man first noticed money was going missing in February, Chatham police said. A number of withdrawals, totaling over $5,000 had been made.
Following an investigation, police arrested Myrna Grant, 47, of Newark at her Nutley workplace. Chatham police say she used money from man's account to pay her utilities.

She was charged with theft in the third degree and released on a complaint summons, police said.
