The NJ Youth Chorus is offering a spring session of our new “Primi Passi” class for 2nd and 3rd grade students. The class will meet in Chatham on Tuesdays from 4:30 – 5:30 PM for 8 weeks, starting on March 14th. Please pass along this information to any of your students who might be interested.
Primi Passi (pree-mee pa-see, meaning “First Steps”) is a non-auditioned choral music experience for boys and girls. Lessons will cover basic choral technique and music reading skills, using song, musical games and folk dance. The songs will be specially selected for this age group. It is a wonderful way for children to explore their interest in music and singing, and could be a path to other opportunities within the New Jersey Youth Chorus.
