NJ's 2nd Small-Format Target Coming To Morris County
You can start shopping in the tiny Target soon.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — New Jersey's second small-format Target will open in Morris County early next month with a grand opening celebration and a small give-away.
The store will hold a soft opening on April 4, officially opening its doors to customers at 7 a.m. A grand opening ceremony will be held on the 8th, with an in-store celebration showing off the new store. The first 1,000 customers at the grand opening will receive a free reusable tote bag.
Target is located at 1159 Route 46 in the Troy Hills Shopping Center. It's 65,000 square feet, about half the size of a traditional Target, and is the second small-format Target in the state, behind Closter.

Here's what the company said about its decision to build a small-format Target instead of a regular sized one:
Target’s flexible store design allows it to open in locations where a traditional-sized Target store would not fit. With a smaller size, the store offers an assortment that’s tailored to meet the needs of local guests. The Parsippany store caters to local families and residents, offering a curated selection of men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel and accessories, fresh groceries and grab-and-go items, home décor, a health and beauty section, electronics and entertainment, and toys and sporting goods. Store services will include a CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks and Order Pickup.
When they open, Target will grant two local non-profits $6,000 total in grants, they said. The two non-profits have not been named.
