No Injuries, Summonses in Two-Car Accident

said they responded to a two-car accident Monday on Fairmount Avenue near Firehouse Plaza.

At approximately 11:52 a.m., a 2008 Lincoln driven by Kim June-Il, 67, of New York City, was parked in front of14 Fairmount Ave. when his rear seat passenger opened his door into the lane of traffic, police said.

A passing 1995 Toyota diven by Kami Phillips, 21, of Chatham Township was passing by at that moment and struck the open door, according to police.

No injuries were reported, no summonses were issued and both cars were driven from the scene, police said.
