Over $3,000 Worth of Valuables Stolen From Township Home

Items valued over $3,000 were stolen from a Whitman Drive home Tuesday, according to township police.

Police said fishing equipment, heating equipment and a digital camera were taken. The robbery occurred between May 22 and June 5, according to police.

Police also reported a small brushfire on Noe Avenue Wednesday that was extinguished by the Green Village Fire Department. They also said the township Fire Department extinguished a fire at a River Road home Wednesday that began after a basement ceiling light had shorted out.
