Overlook Foundation Junior Board raising funds for Behavioral Health Department
Overlook Foundation's Junior Board selected the Behavior Health Department to receive its 2016 grant.
Hello and thank you very much for taking the time to visit our fund-raising page. We are the Overlook Foundation Junior Board, a group of enthusiastic and philanthropic high school students raising funds for a grant that we created. After careful consideration, we have decided to award our 2016 grant to the Behavioral Health Department at Overlook Medical Center. Even as teenagers, we recognize the prevalence of social anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders right in our own communities. With the funds we hope to raise, the Behavioral Health Department will purchase several pieces of exercise equipment, textbooks on clinical topics and treatment approaches, and coping skills tool boxes to help patients actively partner with the medical staff in returning to good health and preventing relapses. Your donation can help us help the department achieve its goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle for all of its patients.
