Football Coach Pleased With Team's Second Half
Cougars scores in fourth quarter as Faila throws touchdown pass to Brown.
Chatham High lost the football game against Wallkill Valley High School 27-8 Friday afternoon in Hamburg.
The Cougars (1-1) scored their lone touchdown in the fourth quarter when quarterback Sam Faila threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Colin Brown. Corey Heideran's then ran in for the two-point conversion.
Though head coach Don Morgenroth said he "was pleased with how we came back in the second half," overall "it wasn't a great game for us." Morgenroth further said he hopes the men find a way to come back to practice and to their next game with "a positive attitude to improve on everything."

Chatham next plays at James Caldwell High School in West Caldwell on Saturday at 1 p.m.
