Chatham Township police arrested a Chatham Borough resident Thursday who allegedly punched someone in the face during a fight at the Chatham Hill apartment complex off of Green Village Road.
Charles Ross, 18, who is a borough resident, was arrested after police said he punched a 19-year old Reston, Va. man in the face. Police said they responded to a large, rowdy group at the scene at about 11:17 p.m. Thursday and came across a fight in the process.
Police said the extremely intoxicated victim was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital by the Chatham Emergency Squad for treatment. Ross was processed at police headquarters and released pending an August court appearance.
