Preschool Farmers at the Kirby Center of the Madison Area YMCA Plant, Harvest and Eat Their Own Vegetables

Pre-K4 farmers at the F.M. Kirby Children’s Center of the Madison Area YMCA grow and pick their own vegetables including broccoli, lettuce and spinach. The fresh veggies are incorporated into healthy meals for the children during cooking lessons in the classroom. Sophia Barquero, 4, from Morristown harvests the leafy greens.
