Rake-A-thon Brings Student Volunteers Together with Seniors Needing Help

Student volunteer rakers; Senior Citizens,; fundraiser for Chatham Senior Center.

Local high school students and youth group members have graciously volunteered to rake leaves

as a fundraiser for the Chatham Senior Center. Students from local church youth groups and Chatham High School Key club are the volunteer rakers.

Members of the community, especially senior citizens are encouraged to sign up. A team of rakers will be dispatched to your home to clear your leaves in return for a donation to Senior Services of the Chathams.

Minimum suggested donation of $25/hour; all proceeds will be used for programs and events at the Senior Center.

For Chatham Borough residents, leaves will be raked to the curb for municipal pickup. For Chatham Township residents, leaves will be raked and Simonfay Landscaping has offered to remove the leaves free of charge.
