Rooted in Chatham, Ready to Serve

I moved to Chatham when I was just 6 years old. My parents fell in love with this community, and of course, our impressive school district. I grew up attending Chatham’s public schools and have always been an active member of our community — from Girl Scouts as a kid, to marching band in Chatham High School, and later working at Drip Coffee on Main Street. Growing up in our amazing town was a blessing, so it was an easy decision for my wife and I when we decided to settle down in Chatham Borough permanently. We fully envisioned our future here, at home, in the very place that shaped me into who I am today.

Since moving home, I have gotten more involved by volunteering on Chatham Borough’s Shade​​ Tree Commission and Planning Board. When I learned that there would be vacant council seats this year, I knew I had to run. Although I am an introvert at heart, I am also a creative problem solver, active listener, and am deeply passionate about our community. If elected, I will put these skills to work as your elected leader.

As a professional Environmental City Planner, I have been able to create community-focused and environmentally minded land use plans for the community I work in. When I decided to run for council, I knew that I could make an impact by putting these skills to use here at home. Not only as a professional, but as an advocate for our community, I will not let developers call the shots. I will ensure that any proposed development fits Chatham's community values and promotes public safety. I want to continue to give back to my community, so I am asking for your vote for myself and Nick Eck to be your Democratic nominees for Chatham Borough Council on June 2nd.
