In a follow-up email to Patch, Andes confirmed that Trader Joe’s signed a lease Thursday but noted that there are many permits that need to be filed still.

"But we are very excited that they have picked our community to open a business," Andes said.

The Denville location at the Shoppes at Union Hill is located at 3056 Route 10 West. This would be the second Morris County location for the store, which has a shop in Florham Park.

Vice President, Senior Marketing Director Eastern Division RPAI US Management LLC Kimberly Fuhrman, who represents the Shoppes at Union Hill, would not confirm or deny the news.

"We are not able to confirm what tenant is coming right now, but we will send an announcement as soon as we can," she said in am email Thursday.
