Man Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash In Chatham Township: Prosecutor
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
CHATHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man died Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash Monday morning in Chatham Township, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. Authorities haven't publicly identified the 52-year-old, as they were in the process of notifying his next of kin as of 5 p.m. Monday.
The crash occurred at about 11:30 a.m. at Shunpike Road and Lafayette Avenue. A Nissan Rogue traveling west into the intersection struck a Jeep Wrangler moving south, the prosecutor's office said. The Wrangler hit a box truck parked on the opposite side of the intersection.
Authorities pronounced the Wrangler driver dead at the scene. There were no other reported injuries.
