BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ (April , 2017) – Summit Medical Group Foundation announced its annual fundraising Gala and Auction on Saturday, May 6 at 6 p.m. The event, entitled Laugh, Love and Bid, will be hosted by Seth Meyers of NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The Gala, which will take place at The Grove, 691 Pompton Avenue in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, will also feature special musical guest Morgan James of Broadway’s Motown the Musical and The Addams Family, and celebrity auctioneer Paul Zekos of Charity Auction Success. New Jersey’s Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno and New Jersey State Senator Tom Kean, Jr. are expected to be in attendance during this extraordinary evening.

In addition to the evening’s cocktails, dinner and entertainment, the celebrity event will include a live auction full of one-of-a-kind VIP experiences. Proceeds from the event will help fund SMGF’s community programs, such as free wellness screenings and health education, as well as SMGF’s network of charitable partners. Funds will also be part of ongoing support for the new SMGF Mobile Unit, a Summit Medical Group-staffed vehicle that brings healthcare into underserved communities throughout northern New Jersey.

Last year, over 700 people enthusiastically bid on a wide variety of items and events, which raised more than $800,000 for the Foundation.
