St. Patrick School Reigns Supreme in Junior Model UN

NJ Consortium for the Gifted and Talented

St. Patrick School participated for the first time in the Junior Model UN event sponsored by the NJ Consortium for the Gifted and Talented and hosted by Drew University. 8th graders Caitlin Kelly, Alex Jancewicz, and Christian Rosowicz participated as Israel debating the education of women. Mary Kate Vowells, Maddie Morton, and Charlotte Hamilton competed as South Korea discussing nuclear proliferation. Under the direction of faculty members, Miss Auriema and Miss Dickinson, both teams worked extremely hard and won awards within their committees. Israel was awarded Best Delegation (1st place). South Korea was awarded Outstanding Delegation (2nd place).

St.Patrick School is dedicated to providing students with the tools necessary to be successful in the 21st century. Their ultimate goal is to produce individuals who are responsible, life-long learners, effective communicators and problem solvers.
