Star-Ledger: State Will Not Cut Postseason Athletic Tournaments

The NJSIAA budget, approved today, will allow the various Tournaments of Champions to go on.

The state will not cut postseason high school athletic tournaments next year, according to a report in the Star-Ledger.

The New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association's budget, which the agency approved today, keeps the tournaments—such as the Tournament of Champions in various sports—intact. It had been considering cutting them in an effort to save money.
